After a new intermission, at what time does the third day of debate in Deputies begin?

Omnibus law: debate in Deputies moves to a new intermediate room

After another day of debate lasting more than twelve hours, the Chamber of Deputies entered another intermission room after midnight and the session for the omnibus law will resume this Friday at 10:00.

This was requested by the president of the block of national deputies of La Libertad Avanza (LLA), Oscar Zagogiven the impossibility of achieving the general sanction this morning, since the negotiation with the governors and the dialogue blocs was still open.

The initial idea was to meet until dawn, vote in general and then go to an intermission room to continue on Friday with the discussion in particular, that is, article by article.

In the midst of a very extensive list of speakers and with the opinion still open, the ruling party decided to cut and continue tomorrow.

In the vicinity of Congress, with a new protest rejecting the norm, there were scenes of maximum tension and clashes between the protesters and the federal security forces.

Police officers launched tear gas and fired rubber bullets at the protesters, even those who were on the sidewalk and Congress Square.

Before 9:00 p.m., deputies from the left and UniĆ³n por la Patria took to the streets to try to mediate and stop the repression that had already been going on for more than two hours.
