February 19, 2024 – 11:08

It was confirmed by presidential spokesperson Manuel Adorni. In the next few hours, the Government will publish the regulations of the new law in the Official Gazette.

The presidential spokesperson, Manuel Adorni, confirmed that the Government will publish a decree to deregulate union social works, as Ámbito advanced. “Workers will have the freedom to make their contributions to the social work they choose from the beginning of the contract”he said in his press conference at Casa Rosada.

In other words, Adorni reported that in the next few hours the Government will regulate the decree that establishes the freedom to choose social services from the beginning of an employment relationship.

As explained from Balcarce 50 to Ambit, beneficiaries will be able to choose a social or prepaid work – which is registered for this purpose – when starting a new job, without any type of intermediation. This election may be made once a year, at any time from the beginning of the employment relationship.

On Friday, the Government began the “technical table“which will advance through decrees on the different points of the omnibus law that foundered in Congress, constituting the first parliamentary defeat of Javier Milei. In a meeting, which lasted about an hour and a half, those in charge of carrying out the libertarian reform plan had defined what the first battles would be.

The technical table, which is made up of the former head of the BCRA Federico Sturzenegger, the presidential advisor Santiago Caputo, the Executive Secretary of the Government of the Headquarters José “Cochi” Rolandi, and the Secretary of Legal and Technical, Javier Herrera Bravo, analyzed that day about the deregulation of the social works.

Regarding this last point, the Government indicated on Friday the objective is “transparent” the work of the entities, although at the same time they point out that “Milei is convinced that we must go all out against the guilds“.
