The coaches confirmed the formations with several surprises

Boca fans encouraged the team on their departure to the Monumental

Around 200 Boca fans gathered near the Intercontinental Hotel to encourage and say goodbye to Diego Martínez’s team as they headed to the Estadio Más Monumental to face the Superclásico this afternoon.

Mostly families, with many children, gathered very early behind the retaining fences on Moreno Street and sang several songs, most of them dedicated to their usual rival.

Minutes before 2:30 p.m. the players left one by one from the central hall of the hotel towards the bus and one of the most applauded was the Uruguayan Edinson Cavani.

Juan Román Riquelme, who accompanied the team on the bus, was also highly acclaimed by the fans.

Meanwhile, in the La Boca neighborhood, the Buenos Aires City Police prevented Boca fans from setting up a traditional preview when the team plays at home on Irala Street, through fencing.

That’s why the fans themselves, more than 300, moved the event to the Parque Lezama amphitheater.
